What cookies are
Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. They help pages work, measure traffic and remember your choices.
On houseofvinterberg.com we use cookies together with pixels, tags and local storage. These technologies are treated legally on a par with cookies, and we refer to them collectively in this policy. The domain houseofvinterberg.dk automatically redirects to .com and doesn't set cookies itself.
If you click "Accept" in the cookie banner, you consent to cookies that aren't strictly necessary. Strictly necessary cookies are always used, as the website cannot function without them.
Cookie types
We split cookies into four categories. Three of them require your consent.
| Type | Purpose | Legal basis | Consent |
|---|---|---|---|
| Strictly necessary | Security, consent recording, login and cart | Legitimate interest | No |
| Functional | Remembers language, region and preferences | Consent | Yes |
| Statistical | Measures how the site is used (anonymised) | Consent | Yes |
| Marketing | Personalised ads and effectiveness measurement | Consent | Yes |
Strictly necessary
Ensures basic functions like login, cart, security and recording your cookie choices. Set based on legitimate interest under GDPR art. 6(1)(f). Cannot be opted out of.
Functional
Remembers your preferences such as language and region. Improves your experience but isn't required for the site to work.
Statistical
Provides anonymised or pseudonymised data on how the site is used so we can improve it. We use, for example, Google Analytics with IP anonymisation.
Marketing
Enables us and our partners to show relevant ads and measure how our marketing performs. Examples: Meta Pixel, Google Ads and TikTok Pixel.
Third-party cookies
Some cookies are set by partners that process data independently of us.
| Provider | Purpose |
|---|---|
| Google Analytics | Statistics. IP anonymised |
| Google Ads | Marketing. Conversion measurement |
| Meta Pixel | Marketing. Ads on Facebook and Instagram |
| TikTok Pixel | Marketing. Ads on TikTok |
