A suit cut to your measurements, starting from a conversation about what it will be used for. The Showroom sits on Skoubogade, a side street off Strøget.
The word tailored covers a lot. A suit off the shelf with shortened trousers gets called tailored, and so does a suit built to individual measurements. House of Vinterberg works primarily in made-to-measure, where a base pattern is adapted to your measurements rather than you adapting to a standard size.
The difference is felt most clearly in the shoulder. When the shoulder seam sits precisely, the rest of the suit falls naturally. An off-the-rack suit often compromises in one place to work in another, and that compromise disappears when the suit is built around the body.

The process typically takes three to five weeks from measuring. If the suit is needed for a specific date, it pays to start in good time.
You meet your dedicated designer at the Showroom. The materials are out, and the conversation starts from the occasion, the wardrobe you have, and what you want from the purchase. The first consultation is free and carries no obligation.
Your measurements are taken on the body, and cut, cloth and details are chosen together. You are welcome to bring inspiration photos or reference garments.
The suit is made, and there is a fitting along the way so the fit can be adjusted before handover.

A two-piece suit starts from DKK 5,000. The price follows the cloth and the construction, and there are three levels to choose between. We go through them at the Showroom, so the choice is made from how often the suit will be worn.
The calculation that matters is the price per wear. A suit that fits precisely gets worn more often and stays in the wardrobe longer.

The nearest metro is Gammel Strand. From Nørreport it is a short walk through Strøget, and there are bicycle racks on Skoubogade and Højbro Plads. We are open five days a week, closed Monday and Sunday.
