Shipping and delivery

We ship with GLS, PostNord or equivalent recognised carriers. You can also pick up in the showroom at Skoubogade 2.

Lead times

Adjustments after the first fitting may extend delivery by up to two weeks. Should an error occur, we reserve the right to correct it - and always tell you first. All shipments include tracking.

International delivery

For delivery outside Denmark, write to info@houseofvinterberg.com before ordering so we can confirm availability and shipping costs. Customs, import duties and local fees are borne by the customer.

Right of return

Stock items - 14-day right of return

Standard items such as accessories and stocked pieces can be returned within 14 days of receipt. The item must be unused and in original condition. You bear the return shipping unless otherwise agreed.

Made-to-measure - no right of return

Made-to-measure products (suits, shirts, coats and similar made to your measurements) are excluded from the right of withdrawal under EU consumer law, because they are produced specifically for you.

If colour, pattern or fit deviates from what was agreed, we exchange or alter. Write to us - we'll find a solution.

How to return

  1. Write to info@houseofvinterberg.com so we know the item is on its way.
  2. Pack the item securely and send to the address below.
  3. Include your bank details for the refund.

We deduct for diminished value if the item has been used beyond ordinary examination - in the same way you'd check a piece in a shop. Refunds are made by bank transfer within 14 days after we have received and approved the returned item.

Fit guarantee

30-day fit guarantee from the moment we report your piece ready. If something doesn't sit right, we fix it.

Adjustments are performed by Danish tailors in the showroom. Allow up to two weeks extra for the work. We always tell you if a piece requires more - especially when working with mohair, cashmere or hand-sewn buttonholes.

Complaints and warranty

Two-year right of complaint on manufacturing and material defects, per Danish sale-of-goods law.

The right of complaint doesn't cover damage from incorrect use, ordinary wear or alterations by anyone other than us. If you discover a defect, write to us within a reasonable time. We repair, exchange or issue a credit note - and cover reasonable shipping for approved cases.

For customers in the EU/EEA outside Denmark, complaints can be brought to the national ADR body in your home country. Write to us first at info@houseofvinterberg.com - we almost always find a solution faster ourselves.
