Material and quality

The outer fabric is woven by the Italian specialist weaver Olmetex for the Outerwear II collection. The compact weave of 280 g/m² is treated to be water-repellent and windproof, keeping the jacket light and easy to move in without compromising on weather protection. The colour is dark taupe.

Design and fit

The jacket has a stand collar, a full-length zip with press studs at the top, four flap pockets across chest and hip, and an adjustable drawcord at the waist. The jacket is tailored in House of Vinterberg's Showroom in Copenhagen and comes in sizes 46 to 70.

Styling

The jacket is built for layering and works over knitwear and a shirt. Combine with chinos, jeans or lightweight wool trousers.

Natural fibres in half-canvas construction reward gentle handling - that keeps the jacket alive for ten years, not five.

Never home-wash. Only professional dry-cleaning when needed - typically once a season.
Curved wooden hangers. Preserve the shoulder line. Never metal or plastic.
Steam, don't iron. Hold 5-10 cm from the piece, move along the weave direction.
Cedar in the closet. Natural moth protection.
Rest between wears. Let the jacket rest 24 hours on a hanger.
